It will come as no surprise that my August 2024 Books Recap will, of course, show that I can’t stick to a TBR to save my life. Seriously, my August Book Goals are peering at me with sad eyes, wondering where it all went wrong. But I *do* have good news, glitterbugs! The books that I did read for August? And the August Favourite Read Goes To…
Did I procrastinate, just so I’d have more time to decide my favourite read in this August 2024 Books Recap? Yes, yes I did. And it’s still a hard one to pick! But I honestly couldn’t go past The Queen’s Blade by Evelyn Ward. I love a murder mystery… And as that’s at the very heart of this dark romantasy, I knew it was going to be wonderful. But add to that the beautiful tropes such as enemies to lovers, found family and feminine rage? Oh. My. Goodness. This needs to be on everyone’s TBR asap! Trust me, you will love how this series starts.
