Well glitterbugs, it’s time to finally discuss my December 2024 Book Goals! You may have seen my recent Instagram post, discussing how I needed to slow down what I’m doing? The fact of the matter is, my mind is trying to tell me that I need to stay on top of all the new book releases… And there’s no way that’s sustainable for me. After all, I still have three full TBR bookcases calling my name!

Two of these have been hanging around on my TBR for a while, but I’m determined to finally read Yarros and Ryan’s books before we go into a new year!
A Personal Update…
Well glitterbugs, it seems like December has got me again. Last year I’d had to say a sudden goodbye to a friend, and it knocked me for six. This year? I thankfully haven’t had to say goodbye to anyone, but I *have* been dealing with a few milestones that make it hard to focus on bookish goodness.
So instead of telling you about my anticipated releases, I’m just moseying along here, currently looking around at the explosion of colour in my lounge room. Because today? I finally got out the Christmas decorations and ran riot around the house with them. Cheeky admission: the picture below isn’t my tree, as there’s no way I could have something so uniform. But I figure you might like the soothing simplicity to it!
Between you and me, I’m ready to have some happier adventures in 2025. Because while a *lot* of great things have happened in 2024? Surgery was also a big part of this year, and it took a lot of mental energy to get to that moment. Ironically, the overall recovery wasn’t anywhere near as taxing! And now I do believe it’s time to stop waffling, and press play once more on The Muppet Christmas Carol soundtrack.
