December Book GOALS

December Book Goals means Summer! The word summer is spelled out using Scabble tiles, on a bed of sand. Image by Ylanite Koppens via Pexels.

Welcome back, bookworms! It’s time for some December Book Goals and just a smidge of festive fun, are you ready? I recently made a TBR book throne (thanks to my book fort), but am not-so-quietly thinking of making it into a TBR tree for Christmas.* Will it work? Probably not! But we gotta try, right? Stay tuned…

What’s on the TBR list?

So what’s on the list for my December Book Goals? Well, there’s a couple of books currently hanging around my neck like an albatross (where do these sayings come from?) so they’re going to the top of the TBR list here! But I’m also mixing things up with a range of genres and both indie and traditionally published authors this December. So without further ado, here’s my TBR list:

  • The Foxes of Warwick: Edward Marston
  • Beckoning of the Gate: Benjamin J. Ryan
  • Lux: Rae Else
  • The Gilded Mirror: K. E. Barden
  • Daughter of Darkness: Katharine and Elizabeth Corr
  • The Witch in the Well: Camilla Bruce
  • A Spindle Splintered: Alix E. Harrow
  • A Lifetime of Impossible Days: Tabitha Bird
  • An Enchantment of Ravens: Margaret Rogerson

You may notice that one of them is already lit up with a link; although I didn’t love The Witch in the Well, I just finished it this morning and have posted my review on my social media. The link above will take you to Instagram, but feel free to check it out via my Facebook page or Goodreads if you prefer those sites!

Anticipated Releases:

There’s a couple of anticipated releases this December, so make sure you mark their release dates on your calendar!

  • 20th: Void and Valor: Ryver Knight
  • 30th: Lux: Rae Else

December Anticipated Releases: cover images of two books are superimposed over a greyscale image of handwriting. The books are: Void and Valor by Ryver Knight and Lux by Rae Else.
Epic conclusions await for lovers of these two fantasy series!

I’ve really enjoyed myself with both of the series these two books come from, so I can’t wait to see what their finales are like! And heads up, a review for Lux might be arriving sooner than you expect, as I’m one very lucky bookworm and received an e-ARC today!

Happy reading, dear glitterbugs! I hope you achieve all of your own December Book Goals, and I’m sure we’ll talk soon…
