It’s safe to say that my January 2025 Books Recap is nowhere near a massive stack, but it’s even less of one than I imagined! So what *did* I read from my January book goals? Let’s have a little look, glitterbugs…

Life adventures well and truly took over January, and I have a feeling it’s going to do the same to my February. And we all know what that means, don’t we friends? That’s right, I’ve *still* not finished Iron Flame! But I’m about 70% of the way through, so let’s call that a win.
I was also lucky enough to receive an early ARC of Nevermore by the wonderful Miranda Lyn, but my lips are sealed with that review until we’re closer to the release date (March 4th). Add to that a handful of other ARCs on my TBR, such as Between Flames and Deceit by M. A. Frick? You can see I haven’t actually stopped reading, it’s just a bit jumbled right now!

And the January Favourite Read Goes To…
Oh glitterbugs. Is it unfair of me to call out one of the two books? It probably is. And truth be told, I love both Helen and LJ’s writing so much, which makes this even harder. But Iron & Embers gripped me, and it isn’t letting my heart go anytime soon. Considering I technically read it months ago, that’s saying something!
This fantasy romance is just full of fiery characters, devastating choices and the will to survive it all. How could I go past it?! Does it tell you something when I say I have a physical copy, an ebook AND the audiobook? Considering I’m rarely an audiobook reader, I think it probably does…
