This January Books Recap is a pretty hefty one, but if you love hearing about phenomenal fantasy books? You’ll want to read on!

Although I didn’t quite finish my January Book Goals in time, I am reading The Twisted Ones by T. Kingfisher as we speak… And Sarah J. Maas’ Crescent City is hovering at my bedside. That’s close enough, right? Apologies to a friend who threatened to hold her breath until I *finally* read this SJM book. I know, I know. Next month! I PROMISE. But still don’t hold your breath.

And the January Favourite Read Goes To…

If you’ve been around for a little while, you probably already know I *love* Helen Scheuerer’s writing. Seriously. LOVE. So is it any surprise that I’m going to pick Blood & Steel as my favourite read of January? It’s an epic romantic fantasy full of slow burn spicy goodness, courageous characters and a bold heroine who runs towards her dreams. And if you read this and don’t fall in love with Wilder? We may need to reassess if we can be friends… Make sure you click the link above, so you can pre-order yourself a copy! You will *not* want to miss this one.

And that’s a wrap, glitterbugs!

Happy reading, dear bookworms. And stay tuned for more reviews in February…
