June Book GOALS

June Book Goals image is of a hand holding an open book.

We’re well into the month, but my June Book Goals are finally taking shape! Who doesn’t love a slow and steady race? I’m currently writing to you while I’m away from home, so this post is going to be relatively short and sweet…

What’s on the TBR list?

Well someone (aka me) didn’t think to look at her massive TBR bookcase before she left home, but the good news is that there’s a few tales I *know* I want to read as part of my June Book Goals! So without further ado, here’s my TBR list:

  • House of Sky and Breath: Sarah J. Maas
  • The Rogue Crown: A. K. Mulford
  • The Cloisters: Katy Hays
  • The Ruins of the Heartless Fae: Maham Fatemi
  • The Starlite Heist: Ember Holt
  • The Befallen: Cambria Williams
  • The Call of the Sea: Kate Schumacher

Yes, a few of these beauties have been carried over from last month. And don’t talk to me about the SJM chonky beast *still* waiting for me to get my act together. But hey, we’ve got time with Maas’ tale, as the third book of the series won’t be out until 30 January 2024!

Anticipated Releases:

Now either I’ve got my list wrong (which is entirely possible), or June is a lovely quiet month for my anticipated releases? But if it *is* a quiet month, that’s actually a good thing, because July is going to be hectic! So which two beautiful books am I looking forward to enjoying this month? A wonderful YA fantasy romance by Maham Fatemi is headed our way, as is the audio narration of Tolkien’s The Silmarillion by none other than Andy Serkis! Confession time: I currently have maybe eight audio books… And four of those are actually Serkis reading other Tolkien tales. Check out the release dates below and mark your calendars!

June Book Goals include June Anticipated Releases: The Ruins of the Heartless Fae by Maham Fatemi and the audio narration of The Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkien, read by Andy Serkis.
Two amazing stories… We’re in for a treat this month, glitterbugs!

A review for The Ruins of the Heartless Fae is just around the corner, so stay tuned because I will be ridiculously enthusiastic in my praise! Trust me, I’m going to need a physical copy of this tale… Which is saying something as the house is about to explode with books. It’s not my fault I have no self control, right? I’d like to say that once things settle down with a certain ill ginger floof (aka George), it’s full steam ahead into all the TBR goodness… But there’s so many books. And I’m learning not to make massive promises.

Happy reading, glitterbugs! I hope you achieve all of your own June Book Goals, and I’m sure we’ll talk soon…
