March Books RECAP

March Books Recap features 6 books, their cover images superimposed over a blue and yellow background. Top row (L to R) The Ruptured Sky by Jessica A. McMinn, HOEAB by Sarah J. Maas, Changeling by Arista Holmes. Bottom row: A Legacy of Poison and Lies by Victoria J. Price, A Kingdom of Exiles by S. B. Nova and The Spirit Engineer by A. J. West.

Repeat after me: Just because it’s on my March Book Goals, that doesn’t mean it’ll be featured in my March Books Recap, and that’s *okay*. Now repeat that ten times.

Yeah… I don’t believe me either! But life gets busy, and sometimes even beloved books have to fall by the wayside. Or at least, sit by my bedside like a dejected puppy. Although my March Books Recap is small, it *is* mighty, and features some indie fantasy goodness like you’ve never read before. That’s impressive, right?!

March went by too quickly, but I still found new authors and stories to love!

My March Books Recap features four indie fantasy authors, as well as powerhouse SJM and the gothic historical fiction titled The Spirit Engineer… So if you can’t find something to love here, you’ve probably come to the wrong place! Trust me. Have I ever lead you astray before?

So without further ado, here’s some book review goodness:

The Ruptured Sky: Jessica A. McMinn

House of Earth and Blood: Sarah J. Maas

Changeling: Arista Holmes

A Legacy of Poison and Lies: Victoria J. Price

A Kingdom of Exiles: S. B. Nova

The Spirit Engineer: A. J. West

And the March Favourite Read Goes To…

My March Favourite Read *has* to go to The Ruptured Sky by debut indie author, Jessica A. McMinn! This epic grimdark fantasy really did have it all… Like I said in my review, if you’ve loved books by David Eddings, Raymond E. Feist, or even Anna K. Moss’ The Worthy? You will *need* to read this! Because The Ruptured Sky stands right alongside them in terms of plot, world building and heart. With the added bonus of a ragtag crew and found family, it is a 5 star read.

And that’s a wrap, glitterbugs!

Happy reading, dear bookworms. And stay tuned for more reviews in April…
