For my May 2025 Books Recap, the favourite obviously has to go to Thorns & Fire by Helen Scheuerer… But I’m sure none of you are surprised by this! You can see my full review via the link above, but I’m telling you right now, this romantasy perfectly balances the darkness of a looming war with light-hearted moments, just as it gives us relief against heart-breaking angst with small doses of sweetness. Helen really doesn’t know how to write anything less than perfection. And I truly mean that.
