This urban romantasy is book one in the Immortals series, and holy guacamole glitterbugs… This storytelling is next level. It really is. But before I get too excited, let’s give you an overview!
Rae Farren has lived with so many secrets for so long, it’s a wonder she can keep track of them all. Their hearts are so injured, it’s a wonder they can still keep fighting for a better world. And yet, they do! Rae and Aidan are determined to protect the people of Demesia, and I adore their defiance against the evil that’s spreading within the city. Combine this with the found family they’ve created? It was honestly impossible to look away!
Glitterbugs, this romantasy is the gift that just keeps giving… For all that they’re enemies, when it comes down to Rae or Aidan being threatened? You do not want to be in the path of their spouse. Yes, you read that right—we get a marriage of convenience in this glorious tale! Being the chaotic, morally grey characters that they are, you won’t find Aidan or Rae playing by any rules. If there’s a way to bring down their enemies? They’ll do it, and it doesn’t matter what (or who) needs to be removed to get this done.
Please, *please* add Victoria J. Price’s name to your auto-buy author list! My heart was in my throat during so much of this romantasy, and once again I cried. Are we really surprised? We all know I’m helpless at controlling my emotions when it comes to Victoria’s writing! This dark, wild adventure is a triumph for how to write an exceptional urban romantic fantasy. And let me tell you glitterbugs, when there’s a moment which calls for the ‘my wife’ trope? The swooning. The. Swooning. Love is too small a word for how I feel about this book, but it’s the best I’ve got!

Never Run From An Immortal by Victoria J. Price is an exquisite urban romantasy, full of dark choices, morally grey characters and love.
