Who doesn’t love an October 2024 Books Recap?! October is the time of spooky reads, and I like to think a few of the stories I immersed myself in managed to hit that brief! Did I hit all of my October book goals? Well I didn’t get through two out of the twelve tales on my TBR, but it was still a busy (and very happy) month of reading!

If I thought last month’s was a hard one to pick, spare a thought for my troubles today… There’s so many that could easily take out the top read for my October 2024 Books Recap. But if I’m going with both my head and my heart? Binding of Silver by Sarah Chislon *has* to take out my favourite monthly read!
Like I said in my review for this incredible gaslamp fantasy, it’s not only filled with the delights of the Regency Era you experience with Jane Austen, but also the capricious and bewildering chaos of the fae. Such a dangerous, exhilarating path through the social etiquette of the mortal realm and wild trickery of the Other just thrills my heart! I’m honestly at a loss for words on how to sum up my love for the world we experience alongside Jessa, but it is perfection. Hand on my heart: *perfection*. So please, do yourself a favour and read this Blood of the Fae series as soon as you possibly can!
