September 2024 Books RECAP

September 2024 Books Recap features 5 cover images of books over a dark purple abstract image. Top row: These Shadows Become Her by Demi Clorissa, Storm of Ink and Blood by Nisha J. Tuli. Bottom row: Blood Witch by Evelyn Ward, The Dagger and the Flame by Catherine Doyle, The Queen Thief by Madeline Te Whiu.

Well glitterbugs, my September 2024 Books Recap is actually going to be a successful one, in terms of meeting my September Book Goals! I had given myself the tiniest of TBRs, as this month saw me finally go in for a hysterectomy to cure my adenomyosis… And as it’s largely been smooth sailing in terms of my recovery? I was even able to add two extra books to this month’s TBR tally!

And the September Favourite Read Goes To…

Make no mistake, these books are *all* incredible. But for my favourite read in my September 2024 Books Recap? That has to go to The Queen Thief by Madeline Te Whiu! Like I said in my review, Madeline is a force to reckon with, a masterful storyteller in the dark fantasy genre. And this is one of the best books I’ve read this year. I know that’s a big call, but how could I not say it for this exceptional dark fantasy?! This finale in The Soul Thief trilogy lived up to every hope and dream I had for Telium and Paxium. My words can’t do it justice, but goodness didn’t I try in my review! You can see all my thoughts in the above link to the review, or just head straight to Amazon to pre-order a copy via the title link in this paragraph!

And that’s a wrap, glitterbugs!

Happy reading, dear bookworms. And stay tuned for what’s coming in October…
