September Books RECAP

September Books Recap has 7 cover images of books overlaid on a purple flower background. Top row: A Court of Caprice and Decay by Zara Dusk, The Trillias Gambit by J. V. Hilliard, Forcing Fate by M. A. Frick. Bottom row: Brutal Rival by Ember Holt, Ash and Roses by N. B. Snook, The Soul Thief by Madeline Te Whiu, Flames Like Darkness by Belle Manuel and Angelina J. Steffort.

I’ll be the first to admit that my September Books Recap doesn’t really resemble my September Book Goals… But I had a feeling life was going to throw a few surprises in there! Anyone else get side-tracked by life, despite the best laid plans? However, I did read some absolutely amazing stories for the month, so let’s share those titles with you!

September Books Recap means that we are heading into Spring with flowers blooming everywhere! Purple flowers are the focus of this image, with bees gathering pollen.
September was a wonderful month of reading as the flowers started to bloom!

It’s been a month of finding new authors to love, and falling even harder for characters from familiar ones… So my September Books Recap is small but mighty! You want romantasy? Epic fantasy? Characters, magic and heartache which makes you ache? You’ll want to check out the book review goodness below for the tales I’ve read this month!

A Court of Caprice and Decay: Zara Dusk

The Trillias Gambit: J. V. Hilliard

Forcing Fate: M. A. Frick

And the September Favourite Read Goes To…

For someone who struggles to pick just one favourite, I sometimes wonder why I started nominating a favourite monthly read! As much as I truly loved every single book in my September reads, the winner has to be The Soul Thief… Madeline Te Whiu has launched us into the stratosphere with the emotion, danger and level of heart in this dark fantasy sequel to The Assassin Thief! Will you need to wait until 31 October to read this beautiful book? Yes. But the great news is that this gives you enough time to read the first instalment of The Soul Thief series! I promise you’re going to love it if you adore fae, magic and a rollercoaster of an adventure. Honestly, do yourself a favour and check it out on Amazon here!

And that’s a wrap, glitterbugs!

Happy reading, dear bookworms. And stay tuned for more reviews in October…
