Now let’s give you an overview of book two, because I’m *very* excited to talk about this incredible tale!

Let’s just dive straight in with this statement: Winter’s Power is honestly the perfect culmination to Laena and Callum’s story, which is saying something, considering how high my hopes were! If you’re aching to read a story about an FMC full of deadly magic, an impossible love, and the terror of a barrier between worlds falling to unleash evil upon a kingdom? Look no further friends, this is going to be your new favourite read! I’m actually stunned more bookworms aren’t talking about this beautiful series— I certainly love it!
You know what I really, really love within Winter’s Power? How some people can still surprise you. I did not expect to cheer for a certain character, because I honestly thought they were irredeemable. But Amelia, being the fabulously crafty author that she is, pulled a rabbit out of the hat with this one! I love that the characters within this story aren’t just pure evil or good, they can have so many more facets to them. Am I hoping that another instalment in this series could follow their story? Absolutely. Just sign me up right now.
Can we talk about the relationship between Laena and Callum? They are definitely couple goals, because they would go to the ends of the earth for each other. I adore their protectiveness towards each other, their sense of duty and loyalty, their willingness to listen—even when the words hurt. I love this romantasy so much, I can’t wait to have a physical copy on my shelf!
Downside:
No downside whatsoever, this was an amazing story!
Final Thoughts:
Winter’s Power by Amelia MacLeod is an incredible romantasy full of shattered bonds, magical triumphs and deadly powers. I am, obviously, a huge fan of this story and the author! Yes, I’ve tried *very* hard to not give away any spoilers in this review, but let me tell you… If I could’ve said more? I would’ve!
